Shelby Energy Cooperative says members whose bills are due November 10 and who received two mailed statements should disregard the first bill and use the corrected second one.

The cooperative attributed the duplicate mailing to an error on its side and said members would not be asked to pay both statements. A bill pictured with its notice shows a November 10, 2026, due date.

In a November 2 reply to a customer's question, the cooperative said automatic payments would take only the corrected bill. It said both amounts would not be withdrawn.

Members with questions about their accounts can contact Shelby Energy at 800-292-6585. Its website lists office hours of 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
